Purpose
Expose youth to

  • in-demand occupations with leading employers in high-growth industries
  • knowledge and skills needed for future workforce success.

Objective
Youth from 49 area high schools experience hands-on and interactive exploration of careers that ensure the ongoing competitiveness of local employers.

Strategy
Cluster industries and training providers into “Exploratoriums” that allow local businesses to demonstrate and explain what it takes to enter and progress in their industry. Students and faculty from high schools and colleges will complement activities by advising youth on critical education and training pathways.
