Dress for Success

One of the keys to a successful job interview is dressing for success in the position that you desire. Here are some tips and resources for both men and women:

  • Dress conservatively but also do some research on your potential employer for dress code standards
  • Depending on your financial situation, you should have at least two professional sets of attire
  • Make sure you have clean and polished dress shoes
  • Take the time to clean and trim you fingernails, style your hair, and freshen your breath
  • Try to remove any visible body piercings beyond conservative ear pairings for women
  • Do not have any gum, candy, or other objects in your mouth before or during the interview
  • Check your attire in the rest room just before your interview for a final check of your appearance
